The Speech Therapy 1 - Preverbal app is part of a series of speech therapy apps developed by the creator of the clinically-validated language therapy app MITA. This particular app is designed for toddlers and preverbal or nonverbal children. It uses interactive characters and objects on the screen to help children use their voice and develop better control of their speech. The app provides a calm and predictable environment to help children build confidence in using their voice. It is especially useful for nonverbal children with language delay and autism who may have difficulties with communication. Once confidence is built, children can progress to more complex exercises in other speech therapy apps in the series.
