Hepatitis Connect description
The Hepatitis Connect app is developed by the Youth Association for Development (YAD) in partnership with Gilead Sciences Inc. The app aims to eliminate hepatitis in district Quetta, Pakistan through partnership, engagement, and the use of digital and artificial intelligence-based systems. The app allows users to access hepatitis services, join self-help and support groups, and receive awareness sessions and mini cinematic sessions. It also provides a helpline center and digital campaign for hepatitis awareness and self-care. The app contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Good Health and Wellbeing, Gender Equality, and Reduced Inequalities. The ALL4LIVER Grant program by Gilead supports this initiative to enhance education about viral hepatitis across Asia in 2021.
